OKay now is Lab 6a!! This Lab is part of assignment 2. I need to buck up.

Well in Lab 6a. I have learn to evaluate websites base on the evaluation criteria.
For this lab i did an evaluation on this website http://www.cdg.org/technology/3g_umb.asp
This website is the CDG Organization that developed the UMB/CDMA2000 technologies.
I wont type in detailed what are the evaluation i made for this website because they are stated in my assignment 2 so i just do a touch and go on the evaluation criteria here if not it will take up to 3 pages.

Purpose
The purpose is well stated in the website

Coverage
Their coverage is comprehensive, they cover the topics on their technologies, manuals, news, coverage of their technology. The hot links they provide are useful and related to the technology

Authority
This is an authoritative site as this is the source information of the technology before it spreads out to the world.

Accuracy
The information is very accurate as they are the one who developed this technology and know the limitation of their technology

Currency
Yes yes its up to date. The reason will be the same as stated in Accuracy

Accessibility
It is easy to access, no registration is needed to view the content. It is Free. But they do have a member areas, the members are companies or research institute in the communication world. They are able to access some confidential pages about the developments of the technologies

Presentation and Arrangement
The site presentation is very neat. not fancy full little graphics. The site layout is constant.

Usability
Its easy to use and easy to navigate around the source to locate the information.

Overall
The overall impression of the website is good as it is presentable and most importantly the content of the site is factual and accurate and useful to my research.
